Question by lalala: What would i have to do in order to become an event coordinator?
i know you can major in a bunch of different things to become an event coordinator…which major would be the best choice?
(i’m not talking about being a wedding planner or owning my own business for planning events)
i would want to be employed at one company and plan events for them…any advice?

Business, PR, Marketing, tourism and hospitality courses would be extremely helpful. Some colleges may actually have a program called event coordinator.
You can talk to a counsellor at a university or college to find out more information. You can try doing an information interview with a couple of people who work in such jobs. They may be found working in hotels, tourism centres and convention centres.
