Should I get a TM or Copyright?
Question by gemisic: Should I get a TM or Copyright?
I am a sole proprietor of weddings and events floral decor. In addition to performing these services, I also designed my own website and logo, plus all photos were taken by me. I am not sure what would be the right approach to protect ALL aspects of my creative work (floral services, photos, logo). I understand the difference between TM and CR, but I am not sure what would be suitable for my business. Please take a look at my website. I am interested in what the majority thinks would work well for my business. http://lenaosoriogemisic.com/index.html
All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Well thats why I came here. If I have something that I can or should protect…then I will do so. If it means copyrighting the website…then thats good for me. I do know that there are photographers who copyright their work. I am not a photographer by trade, but I wonder if I should protect my own images. Again, not sure if its a big deal or not—that is why I am here. I am trying to figure out what I can or should protect of my creative work.

I don’t see anything you would trademark or copywrite, except the website.
But the “copywrite – XXXX – 2011. all rights reserved” and you should be protected.
What do you think you would copywrite or trademark?
