I hope the guy doesn’t get fired for writing the letter !! Sounds like the cops there have their hands tied on MANY issues. (and are fearful for their jobs) How much longer will this type of behavior from city officials be accepted?? He is right tho, when that Mexican flag was strung up I thought the citizens were going to bum rush that post office!! (from the clips I watched) Sounds like the Maywood “house” needs a good cleaning OUT!!

I think it was an interesting read . . . however, it is not very clear. Seems like I would’ve had to have been “there” to understand. Which is fine except that most people on this site were probably not “there”. I think your point would have been clearer if you would’ve started out saying “There was a protest for or against ____________ . ” I had to read & re-read a couple of things and I couldn’t even figure out if you or the protestors were for or against immigration ’til the 4th paragraph where you said “a group of immigrants was trying to sneak up on you guys from 60th st. Who knows what their plan was. We stopped them at Floral and turned them around. ” Then I was like Ohhhh this was a protest against illegal immigrants (to put it frankly). Because otherwise there would not have been any reason for them to be pissed & to turn them around. So it was a bit vague but I think in the end you made your point. And I can’t help but wonder if all the “brother, sister” references is a racist comment, as in the “white brothers & sisters”, I hope not b/c in this melting pot you can’t tell if someone is a citizen or not just by what they look like. And you’ve made it your job to protect the citizens, not just the ones you “like”. Peace.
